AV equipment rentals to the event and production industries in Sydney and nationwide
Mitch Hancock started Sydney Event Services four years ago as an off-shoot of Sydney Prop Specialists, supplying lighting and sound for events and conferences. The business quickly evolved to include equipment hire, as well as event technical and video production services.
Over the last year, in response to Covid-19 safe distancing requirements, we have introduced specialised services such as Live Streaming and Virtual Hybrid Events, to help our customers reach a wider audience.
We are located at 16 Carrington Marrickville, in the same warehouse facility as Sydney Props and their studio complex. Our association with The Sydney Props Group gives us access to the organisation’s extensive resources, including studio hire, prop hire, rigging and staging, set construction, production design, event styling, wedding and event decor, transport and crew. In particular, we work closely with the studio arm of the business and are the preferred supplier for lighting and sound equipment hire, as well as technical support for productions in studio and on location.
